6 Steps To Be A Good Blog Writter

To be a victorious blogger, you have to be a good writer.
That doesn’t mean you require a PhD in English Literature, or a lots of books to your name. more than as you read other blogs and write more posts, your writing technique will obviously improve.
But you don’t need to wait months or years for that to happen. There are lots of ways you can improve approximately immediately.
These tricks work for all kinds of writing – not only for blog posts. If you’re working on an email marketing drive, or if you’re making your first ebook, you can use them too.


Trick #1: Plan forward Before You Start Writing
Planning forward makes a vast variation to the excellence of your writing. It results in a improved writing knowledge for you, and a better reading experience for your viewers
Taking just five minutes to plan forward means:
You’ll mark any main problems up-front (e.g. your subject is too big for a single post).
You’ll be capable to see the arrangement of your post – and adjust it if necessary.
You’ll have a roadmap to continue  on track as you write.
There are lots of different ways to arrangement, but one of my favourites is to make a mind map.
Trick #2: Imagine You’re Writing to a particular Person
Do you yet get stuck since you’re not sure how to state something? The simple way to get past this is to imagine you’re writing to just single person.
You might even want to have a specific reader in mind for this: maybe somebody who’s always helpful in their comments and emails. Some bloggers still turn their emails to readers into blog posts, if the reader has a question that others are probable to want to know the answer to.
Trick #3: Write Shorter Sentences and Paragraphs
while this trick won’t at all times work, it’s typically a huge way to make stronger your writing. If you look at blogs like Copyblogger, you’ll observe they usually use little sentences and paragraphs (occasionally really short).
By writing small, punchy sentences and paragraphs, you not only hold the reader’s awareness, you also make your life easier. It’s frequently much simpler to have two short sentences than only a long, complicated one.
Trick #4: Talk to the Reader via “You” and “Your”
in its place of writing in universal terms, talk directly to your reader. (Just glance back throughout this post and you’ll see I’ve done that a lot!) This helps build your post, ebook or email feel like part of a discussion.
normally, it’s best to write as even if you’re talking to just one reader (see Trick #2). So rather than writing “some of you may know…” write “you may know…”
Trick #5: Cut Out 10% of the Words
Most persons over-write – they use additional words than they require. while you edit your work, see if you can cut out 10% of the words. (So if you wrote an 800 word blog post, cut it to 720.)
You may be surprised how much you can cut your post and still keep all the meaning. pointless words waste the reader’s time and can break their attention.
Trick #6: Read Your Post clearly, or Print it Out
In fact it’s very difficult to mark your own typos and spelling mistakes, because you know what you believe you wrote! Reading loudly forces you to slow down and can carry those mistakes to light.
otherwise, you can print out your post or ebook and examine on paper. This helps you get some space from it, and can make it easier to read in a decisive way – without the look angrily of the screen and the distractions of social media.
